Nexus Network Partnership (food-water-energy) Grants of £300,000 available

Nexus Network is supporting inter- and trans-disciplinary research projects on food-water-energy themes

The Nexus Network has £300,000 available to support inter- and trans-disciplinary research projects on nexus themes. Proposals are invited for funding of up to a maximum of £150,000 each.

The organisation invites proposals for projects to improve understanding of food-energy-water nexus interactions and support actions to improve their sustainability. Proposals should be submitted by 17.00 UK time on January 31st 2016. Projects must start by July 1st 2016 for up to 12 months duration.

The call is open to researchers based at UK organisations that are eligible to receive Research Council Funding and the lead applicant must be based at a UK institution. Collaborations between UK researchers and international partners are strongly encouraged.

The Nexus Network encourages people from business, policy and civil society to take part, however you will need a lead partner in an eligible UK academic institution. Approaches from UK and non-UK or business, policy and civil society organisations are welcome, with strong ideas for research, but who find themselves unable to find suitable UK academic partners.
